These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website zeroutil.com and the tools and content available on it (together, the "Site"), operated by ZeroUtil ("we", "us", "our"). Please read them carefully.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of the Terms, please stop using the Site.

2. The Service

The Site provides a collection of free online utilities (file converters, text tools, QR and barcode generators, developer utilities, etc.). Every tool runs entirely in your web browser - we do not upload, store, or process your files, text, or other content on our servers. No account, signup, or payment is required.

We may add, change, or remove tools and features at any time without notice.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Site to create, process, or distribute illegal content, including content that infringes intellectual-property rights, depicts child sexual abuse, or violates export-control or sanctions laws.
Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Site's infrastructure or other users' enjoyment of the Site (including denial-of-service attempts, automated scraping at abusive rates, or uploading malicious code).
Bypass, disable, or circumvent any security, rate-limit, or access-control mechanism of the Site.
Resell, redistribute, or white-label the Site or any tool on it as a commercial service without our written permission.
Use the Site to process content you do not have the legal right to process.

You are solely responsible for the content you process with our tools and for ensuring that your use complies with all laws that apply to you.

The Site and every tool on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZeroUtil shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site is limited to USD 10.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for matters that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited (such as liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, where applicable).

6. Intellectual Property

The Site itself, including its design, layout, code, branding, logos, copy, and the organisation of its tools, is owned by ZeroUtil and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute the Site or any substantial portion of it without our written permission, except where permitted by applicable law (for example, brief quotation with attribution).

Your content remains yours. When you use a tool on the Site, the content you process (files, text, images) stays in your browser and is not uploaded to us. We do not access, store, or claim any rights in that content.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site loads third-party services (such as Google AdSense, Google Analytics, PostHog, and Cloudflare) and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Their use of your data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies; see our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Site, are governed by applicable law.
