Frequently Asked Questions

How does sensitivity convert between games?

Each game has a yaw constant - the degrees your view turns per mouse count at sensitivity 1. To keep the same real aim distance (cm/360), the new sensitivity is your sens times the old yaw divided by the new yaw. CS2, Apex, Quake and Rust share the 0.022 yaw, so converting between them is one-to-one.

What is eDPI?

eDPI (effective DPI) is your in-game sensitivity multiplied by your mouse DPI. It lets you compare aim speed between players regardless of which DPI and sens split they use. At 800 DPI and 1.5 sens, eDPI is 1200.

What is cm/360?

cm/360 is how many centimetres you move the mouse to turn a full 360 degrees. It is the truest measure of aim speed because it is independent of game and DPI. Lower cm/360 means a faster, twitchier setup.

Is the Valorant conversion exact?

Yes for view rotation. Valorant's yaw is 0.07, so CS2 sens times 0.022/0.07 (about divide by 3.18) gives the matched Valorant sens. Note that Valorant rounds the sens field to a few decimals, so enter the computed value as closely as the game allows.

Does mouse DPI affect the conversion between games?

No. As long as you use the same mouse and DPI in both games, DPI cancels out of the conversion. DPI only matters for the eDPI and cm/360 figures.
